So this really doesn’t have much to do with technology, besides being from Japan. However, it maybe useful for some travailing technologists… But in all it is Technically Foreign in my vocabulary. This is a pillow shaped like a ladies leg. Skirt and all called the Lap Pillow. Yes, a nice place to rest your head while your girlfriend is away… or so they advertise. Now I personally think that someone might of hit there head a little too hard on the floor and needed one of these.

Sharper Image is noted more for filter-less air cleaners then Zero Gravity space flights, right? Not any more. You can now reserve a Zero Gravity space flight through the Sharper Image catalog. This is a little peek at the future where a couple of minutes of weightlessness could replace a vacation to Europe. I can think of other things to spend close to $4,000 on, but this might be one of those experiences that will last a lifetime.

So I could probably cut a hole in my button down shirt and duck tape a computer fan. Anyway it is one of those things that redefines the meaning of being wired.
Get ready all you pro-Bubble-Wrappers (PBW’s for short), this is the new way of practicing your sport. A bubble wrap simulator. No this isn’t a joke, keep those fingers moving till the the blisters pop. A way to keep the kids quiet, the dog barking and aspirin companies in business. Stop. Breath. Wake up to reality. This maybe the new hotest toy on the market considering the way our culture is breeding into a downward spiral. However it is rumored that our President may endorse these bubble wrap simulators, in hopes to distract the current headlines. They may make a great Christmas gift for that scrooge buried inside you… This is about as Technically Foreign as things get!

A new thing over here at Technically Foreign. Random Googling. As I stated previously on my post about Google As A curse word, there is a lot you can do with google. So now I will be randomly putting phrases into google to see what the all seeing eye thinks.
Today’s Random Googling is: NASA technology shrinks a human

Like all things web, Results may vary. The results I saw show a couple of interesting things. First I have a PDF from MIT about Bio Space suite, but no Shrinking Humans.
Next I have two from NASA’s website but they would never admit in shrinking humans. So we move onto NASA Spinoffs from Thespaceplace.com. This is a cool place that explains all the gadgets NASA has created for our modern way of living. The list is great but no real mention of NASA’s ability to shrink a human.
Next and last for this post is the opinion from the AIP – that is the American Institute of Physics which talks about if Mars should be Human Space flight objective? Now the article is not very interesting and doesn’t talk about any shrinking of a human. It is drier then the planet mars.
So I am afraid I leave with not discovering NASA’s technology that shrinks a human. Till next time, keep Random Googling and spread the hobby.
