Those good old days… maybe not!

So while cruising through the information super highway’s underbelly I came across this funny but interesting video.  Is this an Ad?  One of those Technically Foreign Video’s that most of us can sit back with a  ‘dam that seems familiar’ smile.

Big Bad Bill is Sweetly Retired Today!

As the Van Halen song says.. “Big Bad Billy is Sweet William now!” Most Internet and monkey wrenched technically non-foreign people have heard that this is the last day on the job for Bill Gates.  Yeah you know him as the richest man in the world, the super-man of Microsoft, the geek-with-the-mostest or just the founder of Microsoft.  In tribute to the last day there are three questions that I will never get to ask Billy, three questions that have been ripping me apart for the past 25 years (Yes I’ve been following the guy since i was 6!).

Question 1:  Why do you still wear those dorky glasses when you can obviously aford laser surgery? (Who do you think you are, Clark Kent?)

Question 2: Do you really use Windows Vista? (yeah we know secretly your still playing World of Warcraft on Windows XP.)

Question 3: Why don’t you make a game show to give your money away?  (‘Who wants Bill Gates Money?’ might not crash as quick as Vista!)

So good-bye Bill Gates and hello Microsoft 2.0, a day without Bill, a day many of us thought would never happened.  We will miss you even though we barely saw you, heard from you or even wonder what you really were doing behind that large oak door in your office. Oh and I wonder if Steve Jobs is having a party today too!

Ball Girl Out Plays Outfielder

This is a great video of a ball girl out performing the outfielder in a minor league game.  You can do anything if you put your mind to it…

Italians upset over Crucified Frog Sculpture

Frog

I wish I could make this up, but this shows us how crazy the art world can be.  The green guy is about 3 feet tall and has really pissed off an Italian town where its on exhibit. What’s art without critics.  However I’m shocked that the animal rights organizations aren’t upset and I haven’t heard from Kermit the Frog either.  What I find very amazing is that this piece was done in the early 90′s and the artist, Martin Kippenberg, has been deceased since 1997. For more info read the Australian ABC news article I found this via – NY ARTS Magazine.

Technically a Translation??

A friend showed me this ‘translation’ of an Indian music video. I’m still laughing deep, deep, deeeeep inside. The translation (or interpretation or guess or this should be on the daily show) is exactly how I feel when I’m listening into foreign conversations. You pick-up on words, those English-like words and assume that’s what they are saying. Usually you’re batting way below average, but occasionally some English words like ‘Internet’, ‘Computer’ and ‘American Idol’ are easy to spot. For this video, I do believe this is not a ‘translation’ but the Technically Foreign way Indian’s speak:

Coffee And Computers…

I love coffee and Computers (well that hole bundle of joy called the Internet-gadget-billion-of-transistors). That’s a lot like having a pet mouse, cat and dog living in the same room. Only a matter of time before the expected arrives.  Information Technologies or for the lack of a better term ‘Computer Geek’ needs coffee (Or anything with caffeine) to function. Its written inside our DNA next to the ‘online-gaming addiction’ area. So this is a salute to all Coffee drinking Techy’s, Drink and Surf safely.

Is that an Expresso machine inside you or are you just too hyper to see me?
