iPad Snow Board?

These Snow Board Builders… or whatever you call a person who builds snow boards, have paid homage to the Great Steve Jobs.  Many people have done this over the past couple of weeks and I am posting the most creative and interesting ones.  Watch this video to see ‘Signal Snowboard’ (http://www.signalsnowboards.com) create a functional snowboard that has the design of apple and includes a functional iPad.  Also take a look at there cool designed Snow Boards.

Basic needs of a cat? Food!

Over the past couple of months a certain cartoon has been bleeding through the Internet.  The cartoon highlights the true emotions of having a cat.  These cat videos makes anyone who owns or have crossed paths with a cat, laugh and say ‘They do that!’ So without further introduction, I give you ‘Simon’s Cat’ which you can watch all three episodes so far at: http://www.youtube.com/user/simonscat

The first one is my personal favorite.

ISP Screws up Internet Connection and Arrests Customer

Next time your Internet Service Provider (ISP) stops by to fix your computer connection be very careful what you say to him.  Apparently a new policy from ISP’s is: if we can’t fix the problem we will have you arrested.  A Nova Scotian playwright was arrested for threatening an ISP Technician, telling him that she would keep him hostage until her Internet was up and working.  If the technician felt like a hostage then aren’t we hostages to the Internet Service Provider?  When we are cut off from the Internet that is the equivalent of being placed in a cold white cell and feed bread and water.  Now this story is from our wacky northern friends,  referred by some as Maple Lovers or for the rest of the world just Canadians. But I’m sure the Internet Service Provider’s will love to use this Police State policy to arrest anyone who complains about there Service. Next time your talking to the Customer Care Representative over your Cable, Internet or Phone issues just remember to be nice because if they don’t like your attitude they can send you to Jail!

‘Ken Lee’ or another Technically a Translation…

I recently posted a Youtube video “Technically a Translation” which shows how languages are similar. However what happens when an American song is translated by a Bulgarian singer who tries to sing it in English?  The following clip is what the Mariah Carey song ‘Without You’ apparently sounds like to this Bulgarian Idol wanna be.  The subtitles are translating the Bulgarian into English… or something else entirely.

Technically a Translation??

A friend showed me this ‘translation’ of an Indian music video. I’m still laughing deep, deep, deeeeep inside. The translation (or interpretation or guess or this should be on the daily show) is exactly how I feel when I’m listening into foreign conversations. You pick-up on words, those English-like words and assume that’s what they are saying. Usually you’re batting way below average, but occasionally some English words like ‘Internet’, ‘Computer’ and ‘American Idol’ are easy to spot. For this video, I do believe this is not a ‘translation’ but the Technically Foreign way Indian’s speak:

Coffee And Computers…

I love coffee and Computers (well that hole bundle of joy called the Internet-gadget-billion-of-transistors). That’s a lot like having a pet mouse, cat and dog living in the same room. Only a matter of time before the expected arrives.  Information Technologies or for the lack of a better term ‘Computer Geek’ needs coffee (Or anything with caffeine) to function. Its written inside our DNA next to the ‘online-gaming addiction’ area. So this is a salute to all Coffee drinking Techy’s, Drink and Surf safely.

Is that an Expresso machine inside you or are you just too hyper to see me?
