We have 3D TV’s that you need those stupid glasses for. Who would want to spend all that money when you can actually buy a 3D printer? What is a 3D printer? It’s a printer that actually makes things. A printer prints ink to paper, while a 3D printer puts one line of plastic on top of each other until a solid product is created. The MakerBot Replicator is a new 3D printer that makes all this much easier. A fun toy for those who can afford the $1,749 price tag!

Enjoy making your own toys and be the only one on your block who has a 3D printer!

With the introduction of Freebrze, wipes and all the other chemical and anti-germ soaps which personally I think are just some marketing guys idea of a profit-margin, it seems they all get freaked out with the smallest amount of dirt left behind. So, if you really want to freak out the neat freak around you, run over to thinkgeek.com and pick up one of these LED faucet lights. They change they color of the water to blue or the temperature one also goes red, which might just send my mom to noon mass.

A bubble wrap simulator. No this isn’t a joke, keep those fingers moving till the the blisters pop. A way to keep the kids quiet, the dog barking and aspirin companies in business. Stop. Breath. Wake up to reality. This maybe the new hotest toy on the market considering the way our culture is breeding into a downward spiral. However it is rumored that our President may endorse these bubble wrap simulators, in hopes to distract the current headlines. They may make a great Christmas gift for that scrooge buried inside you… This is about as Technically Foreign as things get!

Internet radios have been around almost as long as Al Gore invented it. But the problem with channel surfing internet radios is most of them are streaming and you can’t skip a song, plus the channels are created by a concrete block that the Industry has labeled. Now comes along the The Music Genome Project which has presented a different way to find the new music and enjoy Internet Radio again.

www.pandora.com - brings a simple way to find this new music and that is by listing the artists and songs you already like. This group of Musicians has been working on this project since 2000 analysising each song to bring you similar music that you like. Now I’ve been using the site for a short time, but I already am an addict. You create a radio station and place the artists and songs you like, then as new songs come up you either give the song a thumbs up or thumbs down and the site will chose new music based on what you like. They are building a community of custom radio stations based on different artists. I highly recommend anyone to give Pandora a try and open the Internet boom box.

Business is about speed and what slows you down the most? A ton of spam in your inbox, that P4 computer that’s still chugging away or is it the healthy switch to decaf? None of the above its the fact you don’t have Carpet Skates. Yes. I said it, Carpet Skates. That is a wierd phrase. These skates apparently do not have wheels but allow you to slide through your fast passed day with ease and maybe grab a workout.

The dangers of this might be obvious, like running over the interns, but lets face it we live in a fast paced world and what would be a better solution then speeding up the time it takes to get from one end of the office to another. Cutting down on the amount of time spent of doing one task like walking could save companies billions of dollars a year.

Now for all those who feel that this technically insane instead of foreign jump over to the Sci-Fi Tech blog or where they got a pair from E-Xtrem geek. I for one would love to have a pair but the server room doesn’t have carpet. In a couple of years when we have Extreme Geek Sports I will compete in the Carpet Skating International.
