The DropCam has a lot of features that beat the competition since it has Nigh Vision, No Computer needed, use your iPhone to watch, hear and talk back through the camera and DVR recording! Not bad for $149.

Yes you heard the headline right. Print a Bikini with your 3D printer. How do I find these things… well this one is from gigaom.com – The company’s website is www.continuumfashion.com - Now that said they do have a shop. But the sell it by the pieces and for some reason the Bikini bottom isn’t for sale. You will need to dish out a couple of grand for the left and right cup and the straps. Although it might be cheaper just to buy the 3D printer and make your own clothing.

Just a review of what 3D printing is: Instead of molding something the way most manufactures work, 3D printing linear prints the material. This means it takes a 3D drawing from a computer file and layer by layer creates the product. This means no big assembly line and no waste. When they come out with 3D printed boxers, then I might be more interested.

Where would we be without a video of this fine piece of Fashion.

Pebble is a Kickstarter product that has raised over 9 Million dollars so far. This idea is so simple (not technically speaking) that I’m surprised no one has anything on the market like this so far. The small watch links through bluetooth to your smart phone (iPhone) and acts as an extended remote control. With many different applications on the watch that link and use the power of your smartphone. Instead of always looking at your phone, you can quickly access items from your phone on your watch. Watch the video below to get the big picture and take a look at the Pebble Kickstarter page.

The future is upon us. The LawnBott is real. A lawnmower that cuts the lawn for you. No sweating in the 100 degree summer heat mowing your own long. You just put the robot down, turn him on, and swing in your hammock with a beer. It’s the outdoor equivalent to Roomba. Sit back and awe over your future lawn boy, LawnBott.

I personally use Siri once in a while and find it works fine. Like most products it’s never going to work as advertised. Apple isn’t going to put an advertisement out with Siri responding “I do not Understand”.

In the end Siri is great for quick information, like weather and reminders. That’s about it. The technology will get better and maybe one day you can have a conversation with your phone. For the mean time let’s see how the Celebrities use Siri!

Take a look at the Video on Newegg’s webiste atl or go right to the product page Japan System Project 3D-Glass

Hopefully this will be more successful then Titanic 3D! Happy iPhone 3D’ing. Let use know how you like it!

If you are a Star Wars fan you might already know about the Fan created version of Star Wars IV: New Hope. Over at www.starwarsuncut.com the entire film was divided into 15 second scenes. Fans, average people like you and me, were given the task to take a scene and recreate it in there own way. 473 individual scene’s are edited together to re-create Star Wars. This accomplishment took 3 years. So why do I care? This project was done by fans, many fans. The people who organized this project (Creative Genius Casey Pugh) managed to win an Emmy. This is a big win by Internet users and proves to the world that with properly manged a creative idea can be powered across the globe by people who never ever meet in real life. The term is crowd-sourced and I hope to see and get involved in creative projects like this one in the future.

We have 3D TV’s that you need those stupid glasses for. Who would want to spend all that money when you can actually buy a 3D printer? What is a 3D printer? It’s a printer that actually makes things. A printer prints ink to paper, while a 3D printer puts one line of plastic on top of each other until a solid product is created. The MakerBot Replicator is a new 3D printer that makes all this much easier. A fun toy for those who can afford the $1,749 price tag!
