iPhone goes 3D – Picasso 3D protection film

As I was looking for a Hard Drive this morning on Newegg.com I cam across a new product that popped out at me.  This is from Japan.  A piece of plastic or glass that goes on top of your iPhone 4/4s that turns the screen into 3D.  For $25, it’s not a bad price.  The company has some free apps on the App Store.  It seems that you just peel the film out of the box and put it on your iPhone, then download the App and it converts pictures and videos into 3D.

Take a look at the Video on Newegg’s webiste atl or go right to the product page Japan System Project 3D-Glass

Hopefully this will be more successful then Titanic 3D!  Happy iPhone 3D’ing. Let use know how you like it!

3D printing? 3D without the glasses!

We have 3D TV’s that you need those stupid glasses for.  Who would want to spend all that money when you can actually buy a 3D printer?  What is a 3D printer?  It’s a printer that actually makes things.  A printer prints ink to paper, while a 3D printer puts one line of plastic on top of each other until a solid product is created.  The MakerBot Replicator is a new 3D printer that makes all this much easier.  A fun toy for those who can afford the $1,749 price tag!

Enjoy making your own toys and be the only one on your block who has a 3D printer!

Transparent LCD Screen

CES has come and past.  I wasn’t in Vegas this year but have taken a look at some of the golden ones that this show has introduced.  One of the best future technologies is something that we have seen for years in science fiction. A window that becomes your computer or TV screen.  Samsung has introduced a prototype of this.  While we are a long ways off from having the in our living rooms we could see businesses around the world use this great innovated technology soon.

1.21 gigawatts of electricity will melt this DeLorean

It seems the world has been morphed into a Lego’s paradise.  Yes 1.21 Gigawatts of electricity will melt the Lego DeLorean!  But it is a toy you will love to pieces.  As a kid I would spend hours creating magical things with my Lego sets, however they were just bright color blocks and everything I built kind of resembled the previous model.  Today there is amazing things you cad do with Lego’s and over at www.ichibantoys.com they bring ‘Back to the Future’ and other childhood memories(Batman and Star Trek!!) to Lego life.  The only thing I would add to this would be the radiation suites.

Foreign Gagdet: LED your drinking water?

facute_ledIt seems to me my family and friends are over influenced on this clean thing these days, listening to the constant flow of the chemical advertisers of how to properly keep your life clean. With the introduction of Freebrze, wipes and all the other chemical and anti-germ soaps which personally I think are just some marketing guys idea of a profit-margin, it seems they all get freaked out with the smallest amount of dirt left behind. So, if you really want to freak out the neat freak around you, run over to thinkgeek.com and pick up one of these LED faucet lights. They change they color of the water to blue or the temperature one also goes red, which might just send my mom to noon mass.

Bubble Wrap Popping Sport Has Simulator

Bubble Wrap SimulatorGet ready all you pro-Bubble-Wrappers (PBW’s for short), this is the new way of practicing your sport. A bubble wrap simulator. No this isn’t a joke, keep those fingers moving till the the blisters pop. A way to keep the kids quiet, the dog barking and aspirin companies in business. Stop. Breath. Wake up to reality. This maybe the new hotest toy on the market considering the way our culture is breeding into a downward spiral. However it is rumored that our President may endorse these bubble wrap simulators, in hopes to distract the current headlines. They may make a great Christmas gift for that scrooge buried inside you… This is about as Technically Foreign as things get!
